Any individual or group that has something to be placed in competition use the Competitive Exhibitor Tabloid - includes such things as livestock, flowers, art, clothing, vegetables, etc.
How do I enter a competitive exhibit at the fair?

Review the 2008 COMPETITIVE EXHIBITS TABLOID. Print an ENTRY FORM (all entries except horses) or HORSE ENTRY FORM, and review.
Review the GENERAL EXHIBITOR INFORMATION (Important Exhibitor Information, Order Of Exhibition And Rules And Regulations, Some Advice To Exhibitors, and Announcements).
Review additional information if entering LIVESTOCK (Livestock General Rules, Code of Show Ring Ethics, Health Rules For Livestock [An Animal Owner or Caretakers Verification of Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship form must be presented upon arrival at all shows and fairs in Pennsylvania, including out-of-state entries. Also, attach health papers (CVI) where applicable]), 4-H / FFA (4-H & FFA Eligibilty, 4-H & FFA Livestock Sale), or HOME ECONOMICS (Home Economics General Rules).
From the INDEX select a department (category) that pertains to what you want to enter. Review any rules that apply, and locate a description that corresponds. Transfer the information requested to the Entry Form.
Repeat above for each fair entry.
Calculate a Total Entry Fee based on your fair entries and transfer to the Entry Form.
Send the Entry Form, along with any fee, to the address listed on the Entry Form. It must be mailed by the date listed on that form.
Bring your entries to the fair on the applicable dates and times in September as indicated by the information for each entry.

Reminder: Registration of entries should be postmarked by August 23, 2008. Entry fee(s) WILL DOUBLE after this date. Registration of entries with a postmark after Sept. 6, 2008 will not be accepted unless otherwise noted.
