Any individual or group that has something to be placed in competition must use the Competitive Exhibitor Tabloid - includes such things as livestock, flowers, art, clothing, vegetables, etc.
How do I enter a competitive exhibit at the fair?
(all are in pdf format - if you want to print any material, you will need to set your printer to "print to fit")
Review the 2010 COMPETITIVE EXHIBITS TABLOID. Of particular importance is the "IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO OUR EXHIBITORS" and other items on page 28 [last page]. Print an ENTRY FORM, and complete the top portion with your personal information.
Using the INDEX [page 2] of the COMPETITIVE EXHIBITS TABLOID:
Find and review the GENERAL EXHIBITOR INFORMATION (Important Exhibitor Information, Order Of Exhibition And Rules And Regulations, Some Advice To Exhibitors, and Announcements).

Find and review additional information if entering LIVESTOCK (Livestock General Rules, Code of Show Ring Ethics, Health Rules For Livestock [An Animal Owner or Caretakers Verification of Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship form must be presented upon arrival at all shows and fairs in Pennsylvania, including out-of-state entries; also, attach health papers (CVI) where applicable]). Review 4-H/FFA (4-H & FFA Eligibilty, 4-H & FFA Livestock Sale) and HOME ECONOMICS (Home Economics General Rules) where applicable.

Select a department and section/division (if present) that pertains to what you want to enter and proceed to that page. Review any rules that apply, and locate a class/description that corresponds. Transfer all information requested to the Entry Form. Repeat for each fair entry.

Calculate a Total Entry Fee based on your fair entries [page 28] and transfer to the Entry Form.
Send the Entry Form, along with any fee, to the address listed on the Entry Form. It must be mailed by the date listed on that form.
Bring your entries to the fair on the applicable dates and times in September as indicated by the information for each entry [page 28].

Registration of entries should be postmarked by Aug. 21, 2010. Entry fee(s) WILL DOUBLE from Aug. 22 - Sept. 4 and TRIPLE from Sept. 5 - 11. Registration of entries with a postmark after Sept. 11, 2010 will not be accepted unless otherwise noted.
